Senior Account Lead

An independently owned agency is looking for an Account Lead to help manage their enterprise/B2B/B2C accounts. You'll be helping build long-term relationships while acting as a 2-way conduit to ensure maximum value for their clients in the ideation, planning and execution of marketing strategies and services. The successful candidate will have experience of the corporate world and be drawn to a creative and collaborative agency environment.

Ensuring account health, QA and strategic alignment, you will collaborate with and guide their clients on their digital inbound marketing, content marketing, brand positioning, reporting and promotion strategies. You have solid client relations, project management and analytical skills. You can think strategically but you know how to move things forward.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Independently manage accounts and run all internal and client meetings. 

  • Ensure deliverables are executed on time and on budget.

  • Act as an extension of their accounts’ marketing teams, ensuring that their needs and objectives are met and exceeded, while also being the clients' voice, communicating updates and managing expectations.

  • Effectively communicate the needs of both the agency client and internal teams ensuring efficiency and the highest standard of quality.

  • Manage ongoing projects and tasks in the delivery of marketing programs and services for their accounts. 

  • Coordinate status of tasks and timelines leveraging the clients' software — internal and client-facing. 

  • Lead the assignment of work of 3-5 freelance resources (dependent upon account needs), including writers, designers, production artists, web developers and strategists. This includes assigning tasks/projects, managing timelines, doing quality control, edits and managing budget. Note that this is not a people-management role.

  • Work with internal resources and agency clients to ensure successful delivery of content that meets the clients' standard.

  • Guide and direct the creative process with the agency client and internal design team & freelancers, to ensure deliverables are on brand and aligned with objectives and overall strategy. 

  • Review performance metrics (GA, HubSpot) and provide account recommendations. Identify areas for optimization and extract actionable insights within the digital channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Account Management – Collaborate with the agency Partners and clients to identify and present opportunities for account growth, while ensuring account health. You bring leadership to client engagements, helping clients strategically develop digital marketing plans. As a trusted client partner, you’re not only client facing, but you also play a bigger role supporting clients and account teams.

Project Management Manage ongoing projects and tasks in the delivery of marketing programs and services for Titan clients. Coordinate status of tasks and timelines leveraging Titan's PM software - internal and client-facing.

 Resource & Team Management – Lead 3-5 freelance resources (dependent upon account needs), including writers, designers, production artists, web developers and strategists. This includes assigning tasks/projects, managing timelines, doing quality control, edits and managing budget. Note that this is not a people-management role.

 Budgeting - Track and manage time and budgets, ensure adequate use of resources and profitability on accounts.

Candidates require the following experience and skills:

Must Have:

B2B client experience: A track record of success leading/managing agency’s B2B client accounts and mapping the workflow critical path.

Brand Strategy and brand building experience.

Tech Savvy: You are very comfortable with online meeting platforms, internal communication  and project management tools. You aren’t flustered when needing to resolve online meeting issues on the fly.

Project management expertise: Able to organize ideas, comments, feedback, and next steps into workback schedules and action plans and deliver on these deadlines (or optimize as priorities shift).
