Job Description

They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Project Manager with a strong understanding of web and mobile app technologies and who is looking to work in a fast-paced agency environment. This role involves working directly with the SVP of Operations, Head of Technology, and CEO in redefining, developing, and implementing evolved processes around web development and app development. The primary role will involve collaboration with account teams, clients, developers, and designers.

A successful candidate will be comfortable attending client meetings and working closely with the Account Team to address client needs, including timeline creation, kick-off meetings, and ongoing communication (both internally and externally). The Digital Project Manager should have a solid understanding of website and integration technical processes and be a critical thinker capable of anticipating issues and contributing to the resolution of errors and UI problems.

Their team uses a mix of project management processes, increasingly incorporating agile methods. Knowledge and experience with JIRA and other project management tools are preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead Production Meetings: Plan, coordinate workflows, and execute projects to improve operational success across web and app communications.

  • Operationalize Project Management: Facilitate planning and status meetings, and share outputs in a clear, actionable manner.

  • Own Detailed QA Process: Review produced websites for accuracy, brand adherence, and quality standards, coordinating approvals of all creative deliverables.

  • Align with Account Management: Enhance operational processes related to website production to improve speed to launch and meet deadlines.

  • Master Systems: Update, maintain, and improve systems, timelines, and documentation as needed.

  • Set SEO Up for Success: Add SEO schema and metadata to website infrastructure.

  • Ensure Clear UX and UI: Collaborate with the Creative team, delivering detailed briefs and participating in creative reviews with a focus on UX design.

  • Manage Content Inputs: Add content (text, photos, videos) to websites using CMS platforms like WordPress, Storyblok, or Contentful, and integrate 3rd-party data.

  • Manage Client Feedback: Interpret client requests and route them appropriately.

  • Prioritize Resources: Manage internal, partner, and client-side development teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time.

  • Gather Specs & Write Guides: Act as a conduit between design/UX and development teams to create functional development guides.

  • Participate in Weekly Meetings: Manage touchpoints between teams, including stand-ups, status updates, and hours reviews.

  • Respond to Technical Issues: Handle risk effectively and escalate when needed.

  • Improve the Process: Develop methodologies, standards, and best practices to streamline processes and enhance digital production efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing website and mobile app builds across different platforms.

  • Experience with some or all of the following is an advantage:

  • Storyblok, Contentful, Netlify, Github, Bitrise, iOS or Android.

  • Bonus if experienced with API integrations, particularly with systems like OlO, Personica, Yext, or other menu management and loyalty platforms.
