Our client is looking for an Associate Director of Performance to support their continuously growing performance marketing agency and lend to successful client campaigns and programs. The Associate Director of Performance will be actively leading client programs and driving successful performance programs.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, hands on platform experience, and knowledge across a suite of digital channels including Paid Social, Display, and Video. With support from 1-2 direct reports, the Associate Director of Performance will delegate and prioritize workloads ensuring programs are launched on time and on budget while staying attuned to performance and give direction on changes as required.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience and knowledge of platforms so they can better articulate to both internal teams and clients objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics. They will be expected to represent the performance team on both internal & client communications alike including statuses, reporting and campaign briefings. There will also be an active planning component to this role, where they have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing media plans, specifically focused on self-serve digital and social channels, on an as-needed basis.

The Associate Director will ultimately be responsible for the strategic direction while overseeing execution for agency clients and driving them toward success.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee day to day work, monitoring metrics and identifying areas for individual growth and development. Able to handle scheduling and resourcing.

  • Responsible for the strategic guidance of clients. Ensure all deliverables are executed on-time at a high level of quality.

  • May assist with the design of team members' individual goals.

  • Monitoring, tracking and proactively optimizing client KPIs.

  • Leading ongoing media testing and experimentation initiatives

  • Continuing to develop and codify agency approach to performance marketing, including the evaluation, procurement and integration of first and third-party tools.

  • Leading and managing the performance marketing component of key client relationships.

  • Liaising with third party experts, analysts and other business divisions to conceptualize, plan and execute industry POV’s & education for team members.

  • 4+ years in an agency or media vendor environment and is ready to move someplace where they are valued, have better work/life balance and can see the impact of their work.

  • Strong working knowledge in Facebook Ads and Google Ads.

  • Expert in interpreting data and deriving insights based on analysis.

  • Highly organized and can bring a high level of passion and energy to their internal and external dealings.

  • High attention to detail, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and relationships.
