Mastery of Account Services Event - Learn from the Pros
I am excited to host our upcoming leadership series event “Mastery of Account Services” for up and coming account and client services professionals in the advertising and communications industry on Tuesday evening March 3rd, 2020.
We made a commitment a long time ago when I started the agency to demonstrate value; to support the communities we serve and host events that address burning issues to spark ideas, debate and conversation. Over the last decade we have hosted over 15+ events spanning different disciplines including creative, strategy, UX, marketing, and technology. We continue to identify gaps and trends in the digital product and advertising industry as we have a unique perspective at the intersection between the next gen of marketing talent and clients’ businesses.
We recognize the challenges that account services professionals face to demonstrate value in their important roles. As a young account and client services person working in the advertising and media world, I was thrown into my role and attempted to learn from my peers. I really had no idea what I was doing. There was no formal training or training manual to refer to. Not much has changed in account services world yet the expectations and skills to lead and manage clients and grow business is critical to any agency or consultancy’s success. The pressures to win and keep new business while successfully managing client relationships and drive value have never been greater.
We know account management is critical to building long term client value, yet they’ve had a bad rap by veering from client partners to order takers, from creative sherpas and client advocates to executors.
