Our client, leading the first product enabling any consumer brand, creator or influencer to bring rewards, loyalty and influencer marketing to Web3, is looking for their inaugural executive product management hire. This client drives strong loyalty for brands in Web3 with their unique, token-based incentivization. The product works seamlessly across commerce, affiliate commerce, mobile, gaming and influencer channels. The product creates loyalty-building trails of data-driven interactions amongst consumers, influencers and brands incentivized by easy transfer, sharing and transactions of its tokens. They bring liquidity to its tokens by supporting redemption in commerce and exchange for fiat currencies. The company’s GTM is focused on opportunities in toys, gaming, and live shopping.

Reporting directly to the Co-Founders and CEO, this is the first executive PM hire which means the successful candidate will really have the opportunity to leave their mark in a breakthrough product by leading product efforts.

The product team plays a critical role in the execution of their vision. We’re looking for a Product Management leader to drive product innovation, build the product and design functions and ensure quality execution. This role will partner with our Founder/CEO on product strategy and the VPs of Sales and Marketing to influence the GTM strategy. A successful candidate must have a track-record of delivering engaging, user-centered, and outcome-driven product experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Craft the product’s 3-year and annual strategies that align with the overall company vision

  • Create/instill a prioritization framework for the team to quickly assess long-term vs short-term needs.

  • Build the foundations of the product and design functions.

  • Craft the company’s product roadmap that is updated on a rolling, quarterly cadence

  • Drive the discipline and discussion around problem discovery to ensure the team has the right product context and data to understand the problem

  • Lead the discussion around solution discovery to bring in insights from design and engineering to ensure the solution is viable, usable, feasible, and delivering outcome-based value

  • Ensure the successful delivery of a release working alongside Engineering and Operations

  • Effectively product strategy and roadmap progress to the rest of the company

  • Actively engage with the sales and marketing team to turn sales calls and conversations with prospects into a product backlog. You will direct and guide the team to ensure feedback works towards the larger market needs.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure the product backlog is kept up to date with the latest company priorities

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 15+ years of experience building and leading an outcome-driven product team

  • Proven experience working with designers and engineers to bring the best out of the team and focus them on delivering a team objective

  • Proven experience working with stakeholders to gather and understand their specific pain points as part of the solution discovery process

  • Ability to design and lead user testing to understand the underlying problem as part of the problem discovery process

  • Ability in leading a problem and solution discovery to assess value, usability, feasibility, and business viability

  • Experience with analytics to make data-driven product decisions and measure their success via OKRs

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience working in agile product methodologies and lifecycles

  • Domain knowledge (e.g. pricing, partnerships etc.) of gaming (Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite etc.), brands, e-commerce and/or loyalty

  • Experience working in early stage start-ups is a strong plus

  • Knowledge of the crypto/NFTs/web3 space is a plus
