Chief Revenue Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Chief Revenue Officer to join a rising startup in the digital media and Ad Tech space. You will be a key member of the company’s executive leadership team and a strategic thought partner, working closely with the CEO and responsible for all revenue-generating elements within the organization.

You will be responsible for expanding the client base while designing how to best position their product offering and promoting organic growth for pre-existing clients. You will be the leading advocate for growth; and a results-driven leader who can ignite and inspire the team to meet ambitious targets.

The ideal candidate combines solid experience in sales, a knack for business development and excellent relationship-building skills. As a new business/sales pro, you have a proven track record of managing all revenue generation activities, including sales, account management, marketing, business development, partnerships and channel development, customer success, and sales operations. You are a natural evangelist and disciplined sales leader that will equally perform “in the field” while pitching to prospects and behind the scenes, using data and insights to build an effective sales pipeline.

Our reach includes a vast and growing network of channels and verticals in geos across North and Latin America, Europe and Oceania, with a scheduled expansion into Asia.

They are a remote-first company, and the role is open to applicants located anywhere in the world, preferably in the US or Canada.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop growth strategies with executive team and CEO

  • Create sales accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics

  • Prospect and close relationships with key target clients

  • Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth

  • Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting

  • Monitor the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle form customer acquisition to engagement to success

  • Fill management gaps by building and training individuals and teams in Sales and Account Management

  • Develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning and proposals

  • Oversee all Channel/Partner Development – adding new sales channels and 3rd party resellers and partners

  • Drive a “lean startup” style environment of constant experimentation and learning

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience and proven success in business development and sales results, preferably with affiliate marketing firms

  • Extensive experience in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth

  • Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships

  • Proven experience developing and executing business strategy

  • Ability to craft and execute a business strategy

  • History of decision-making based on business metrics

  • Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach

  • Flexibility to travel and work extended hours as needed
